The duration of the project was 280 calendar days. This project consisted of constructing approximately 86 lf of 36-inch diameter MLCP, three 16 inch pressure reducing valves and all other associated manifold piping. The project also included the electrical power and telemetry to provide emergency water supply to the 2168 pressure zone from the 2300 pressure zone.
This project was done on a high priority and needed to be done on time and correctly to avoid and major issue with supplying the downtown areas of Las Vegas with water.
Start to finish acme underground completed the project several months ahead of schedule insuring the LVVWD had no water distribution issue.
